Renewable energy

With increases in fossil fuel wholesale prices and many Governments providing Feed in tariffs …..

With improvements in technology, and State sponsored incentives, renewable energy is becoming more attractive. Esi offers a range of solutions and manufacturers who provide consultancy to full project implementation. If you simply want to know what you should consider we can advise on your options

Solar PV

Solar PV systems have become both more efficient and lower in cost over the past 10 years.

PV panels are completely modular, although Esi work with companies which offer the complete package of design and build whether your project is a single house or a commercial solar farm. Systems offer good paybacks and a life expectancy of 20 years plus.

Solar Thermal

Our Solar Thermal systems utilise Evacuated Tube Technology....

Solar thermal systems provide hot water for wet central heating systems, or for hot water for baths, showers and washing.

The evacuated vacuum tube technology prevents a low ambient temperature from adversely affecting transmission of solar radiation to the water flow water.

Wind turbines

Wind turbines are available in propeller horizontal axis and also helical vertical axis.....

Wind energy is one of the simplest forms of renewable energy generation. The key element is to identify the potential of a site. Wind turbines are now available in horizontal axis which offer good efficiency on open sites at high levels. Vertical axis helical systems work well in urban commercial rooftop settings.

Renewables overview

With the depletion of fossil fuels we are having to find and use resources which are more remote and more difficult to access.

This will have the effect that financial and environmental costs will increase over the coming decades.

We all have to face the facts that we must reduce what to consume through efficiency and then find alternatives which best suit individual circumstances.

We constantly monitor the technology markets and will keep you up to date on the available renewable options.

Anaerobic digestion

Municipal waste refuse and sewage sludge can be processed to provide energy and reduce CO2

Anaerobic Digestion is a technology which processes refuse and results in methane which is captured and burned for energy, the digestate is composted and CO2 captured by the compost for slow release. The alternative is landfill with the release of Methhane in to the atmosphere.
